Summarization

Resident Facts to Consider

  1. The subscribing resident is already paying about $55.00 or more for public cable TV with limited performance and channel availability. Currently over 250 channels of digital quality programming, including local broadcast channels, are available for about $55.00/mo/sub including our service fees.*
  2. The potential digital satellite TV subscriber should understand the requirement of service fees to make possible the superior audio and video performance with greater selection of channels, as neither the property nor DirecTV pays for such a system or reimbursement to the systems provider.
  3. The programming provider considers that multi-family dwelling units fall under commercial property guidelines and ruling. This plays a major impact on the equipment and fees associated with the mechanics of the services provided. The channel line-up and programming packages, however, do remain the same as a single-family home dweller, including programming channel promotions.
  4. All parties should realize that a Private Cable building system has no relationship with regards to equipment offered through TV or department store’s advertising, or promotions prepared for "single-family" home dwellers directly through DirecTV.
  5. The residents may get a 50% reduction in their programming fees directly billed to the property when all residents participate, saving a minimum of $200/yr/sub.
  6. One-building properties may benefit from Closed Circuit TV (security and observation, and broadcasting live events) and Electronic Bulletin Board (for information distribution and possible local merchant revenue) options. High speed Internet may also be a justifiable consideration if desired.

The Simple Property Concept

  1. There is NO CHARGE to the property or association for engineering, construction, or services related to the building system when the property accepts and adheres to our Right of Entry agreement to supply and service the residents where the property owns the system or chooses Bulk Programming. Other Property reimbursable options are available as well to qualified properties to create an otherwise, No Cost option through a Share-The-Risk reimbursement plan.
  2. There is NO ADDITIONAL WIRING OR DEMOLITION, or wiring overbuild required unless necessary and acceptable by the property. The existing wiring infrastructure remains intact and owned by the property.
  3. Only ONE DISH(s) is required per building for standard definition digital satellite.
Optional programming requirements in addition to, may require more dishes.
  4. The ONE DISH solution may virtually remove the property mandated FCC OTARD ruling by eliminating multiple dishes.

 * Service fees include our access/maintenance fees, prepaid monthly, for the subscriber’s portion of the resident building system Signal Access & Maintenance(SAM) to their unit. This expected fee is determined upon property evaluation and the number of proposed active subscribers. Subscriber equipment is currently leased through DirecTV. Fees are based on the subscriber being a ‘first time’ user utilizing the DirecTV Consumer Offer. HDTV and international programming are optionally available.
